Медитация, которая стирает прошлые грехи.
Во время медитации расслабившему человеку в состоянии некритического восприятия очень удобно внушать. Как правило, внушаются достаточно полезные установки.
Meditation as a state is a trance state of rest and relaxation of the body while maintaining full awareness. This is the cessation of mental work and mental movements, carrying a negative and a tension. Since most people are in constant internal dialogue with negative thoughts, meditation is often defined as stopping thoughts.
Close concepts: visualization, autogenic training.
Meditation as a process is any practice leading to the state of a meditative trance. Prayer, dance, concentration ... - meditation can be any action, if it leads to the state of a meditative trance.
Historically, meditation (from Latin meditatio - thinking) is one of the techniques of Indian spiritual practice, therefore everything, then it is connected with meditations, traditionally has a touch of esotericism, religiosity and something magical. For more, see Traditional Forms of Meditation.
Methods of meditative immersion
The literature describes hundreds of different methods for immersion in the state of meditative trance. Studies have shown that two things are the most important (and common for almost all meditative practices) elements of such immersion: 1) lack of tension and 2) deep concentration on a monotonously repeated action. Such an action can be both physical (for example, ritual dances in African tribes, martial arts exercises, picking rosaries, reading the mantra out loud, concentrating on breathing, etc.), and mental, imaginary (for example, concentration on the chakra, concentration on the pulsations of the "astral body", etc.).
While scientific studies do not confirm the relationship between the depth of meditation and posture, the most recommended posture for meditation is this: sitting, the back straightened, the head slightly lowered, legs crossed, hands on the knees with palms up, palms uncovered, thumb and index fingers connected.
If a person calms down, relaxes and focuses his attention on the chakra or mantra, this is the meditation of an amateur of oriental culture. It’s no worse than that if a person concentrates his attention on his breathing or on the flame of a candle.
And our men at this time go fishing and, until they have a drink, focus on the float, stopped among a quiet backwater. Excellent meditation!
The use of meditation
Meditation is often used in psychotherapeutic and spiritual practices for a variety of purposes, for example, to relieve tension, to relax, to create a sense of lightness and happiness, to lose the habit of negative thinking, to create a base for positive attitudes and affirmations, sometimes - for easy suggestion to the client any influences on him images and beliefs. It is clear that this gives great scope for creative people - both for effective psychotherapy, and for psychotherapy of patient and philosophical sermons of different quality.
Meditation is definitely useful for mental and physical health. If you remove high words and aspirations, then the real mechanism of meditation is simple and known to science for a long time: it’s desensitization. Back in the early twentieth century, researchers discovered that fears and memories of traumatic situations are easily and effectively removed if the disturbing image is viewed by us against a background of complete bodily relaxation. Actually, if any image or thought anchors on muscle tension, we will get a straining image and difficult thoughts for us. If, on the contrary, we twist problematic thoughts and hard memories for us against the background of a relaxed body (plus combine with a light inner background and soft relaxing music), then the tension and heaviness will quickly go away. And it will be easy on the soul!
Nothing new here, going beyond the work of the reflexive reflexes for Bekhterev - no. Today, all NLP-ers and almost all psychotherapists use this, not always realizing the real mechanism of those useful procedures that they apply.
Meditations are in fashion and are sold well, especially when together with the health benefits you are promised a "state of full awareness." Here, please, be more careful: "the state of full awareness" is often promised, but in real practice is often absent, alternating, on the contrary, with a state of uncritical suggestibility.
Is it good or bad? It depends. If the client does not listen to anyone and suffers from this, then any specialist psychotherapist, in order not to suffer with his resistance, will offer him, under one pretext or another, to relax, close his eyes, after which he will most likely arrange for him a very useful "spiritual journey" as a result of which the client seems to be able to get to everything that the therapist easily indulged him. And really helped.
Can it be harmful or dangerous? Theoretically, yes, it is almost always very useful. A fraudster and without any meditation will deprive you of money, the problematic suggestions from watching television programs substantially cover up any possible harm from meditation ... Everything is determined by those who are meditating with you. If a person is wise and worthy - learn from him and say thank you to him. Do not trust him - look for another teacher or specialist.
