In the initially emotionally flat state, most emotions can be easily started using the keys of emotions: this or that world picture, the internal text (especially the external text) and the kinesthetic associated with the necessary emotional state: expressive gestures, breathing and facial expressions (experimental confirmation of the connection of emotion and facial expressions, see the article "Emotions: Feedback Hypothesis (GDP)").

To run fastidiously, just raise your upper lip, inhale and remember the nasty smell. To start the joy - flushed eyes, a sharp breath and welcoming hands on an energetic body. Keys of specific emotions.

The emotion keys do not always work. In order for this technique to have an effect, you first need to translate yourself into a neutral state. How to do it? The simplest option is to focus on the process of your breathing. Slow down it, delaying after a deep, slow exhalation for a few seconds ...

In the presence of an initially neutral background, the necessary emotions and emotional states are easily triggered by the Key of Remembrance: a remembrance of a similar situation in the past. If you remember the past situation in detail and experience it, see the picture, people and people, hear the words spoken there, remember your breathing there and feel - the emotional state that emerged then emerges.

If you need to experience an emotion that was not in your experience (or you can not recall the corresponding situation from the past), you can create the necessary emotion with the keys of Speech (words), Thoughts (Image) and Body (Mimics and Pantomimics). You need to say the necessary internal text, see the corresponding picture of the world and create a emotion related to the emotion (sometimes it is enough to just imagine it).

Focus of attention: what you pay attention to, then you see. Fix your attention to the fact that you are a confident, calm and strong person - you will be confident, calm and strong. List your mistakes and weaknesses - you will lose confidence.

Metaphor.

To enter into a joyful state, focus on the joyful events in your life. Remember all the best that pleases you today. Remember all your lucky, joyful moments lately. Think about it with concentration, in every detail.

Using the Keys

Picture of the World - Imagine, create a situation in which you experienced this or that emotion. Present it in detail, as it was, and remember the state in which you were.

Internal text (phrase) - add to the situation the text that you associate with this emotion, the phrase that you usually say in this state.

Mimicry - make yourself a face that you think is appropriate in this state. If it is important to add the appropriate body (posture, posture and gestures) - add. Recommended sequence: first remember the picture, to her phrase and then impose facial expressions. With such a sequence of facial expressions and phrase will be appropriate, the emotion will turn out to be natural.

Interesting use of the bodily keys of emotions: "A teenage daughter has got used to run to a mirror, turns around there all day with an unhappy face and complains about how thick she is." Well, yes, she is full, and what to complain about? They started to drive her away from the mirror, and she is indignant: "Why?
